LAMBTOWN FINE ARTS SHOW AND SALE – JULY 28, 2007


RULES:


1)           Entries must be prepared by the exhibitor. All work must be original.

2)           All work must be done on paper, canvas or masonite, except for sculpture.

3)          All exhibits MUST BE FRAMED AND WIRED for hanging, or with metal bracket.

4)          A LABEL BEARING TITLE, NAME, ADDRESS MUST BE ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF WORK.

5)          Watercolor and pastel entries must be framed securely under glass or plastic. Plexiglas is strongly recommended for displays. Glass is to be used at artist’s risk. Opaque watercolors may be framed without glass.

6)          Graphic entries must be framed securely under glass, plastic or Plexiglas unless too textured to use.

7)          Entries are limited to nine square feet, including frame. Exhibits exceeding this limit may be rejected.

8)          Exhibitors will be limited to three (3) works of art to be displayed at any time. Alternative works may be on site to replace sold or other works taken down by exhibitor. Maximum floor space available for each exhibitor shall be 3’ x 6’. If you have large works, please contact Ethel Calvello at 693-8405 for further details.

9)          All works of art MAY BE DELIVERED July 27, 2007 between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to the Dixon Senior Multi-Use Center at

              201 S. Fifth Street, but no earlier than 8:00 a.m. and not later than 9:00 a.m. on July 28, 2007.

10)        All works of art MUST BE PICKED UP no earlier than 4:00 p.m. and not later than 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2007, or they will be charged $2.00 per day per work of art for storage until picked up. All artwork not picked up will be held at the Dixon Senior Multi-Use Center. Pickup and payment of storage may be arranged by calling Ethel Calvello at 707-693-8405.

11)        Exhibitors must (if possible) provide their own easels, panels or tables for display of their works of art. A limited number of easels are available on a first come, first served basis. Footprint of easel to be limited to nine (9) square feet. Tables are limited to 42” x 42”. Tables (DESKS) are available for sculpture.

12)         Each exhibitor must commit and sign up for one hour (or more) as docent and/or cashier for the show and sale. Select three alternate times below. Once all entries are received, you will be notified of your assignment, which will be assigned first come, first serve.

13)         Exhibitor shall be responsible for all sales tax.

Please detach this form and return it before June 30, 2007. Any entries received after this date will incur a $20.00 late fee, and will be accepted on a space available basis.

 

I hereby agree to pay Lambtown USA a fee of 10% of the sales price for any work sold at the Lambtown Festival Art Show and Sale. Further, I hereby indemnify Lambtown USA, City of Dixon, and any employees or affiliates of said entities for loss or damage to any artworks entered in the Show and Sale.
