The Pleasant Valley Boys

Matt & George and Their Pleasant Valley Boys is a contemporary country music outfit directly inspired by the exciting acoustic country music of the late 1940s that has come to be known as "Blue Grass." Their program also features the gospel singing stylings of the Pleasant Valley Quartet.

The Boys frequently entertain for weddings, corporate events, parties and the like and the crowds are universally pleased, always having a blast!

Jenny Lynn - Guitar/Tenor Vocals

From a family line of musicians, Jenny Lynn has Blue Grass music running through her veins! She plays the old-time thumb-pick style and has that 'ancient cry' to her voice, which always carries the high part in the band.

Jim Allison - Fiddle

Jim plays the fiddle like it's supposed to be done! Schooled in the tradition of Chubby Wise, Benny Martin and Bobby Hicks, he flat lays it down! Jim also takes the lead vocal as a part of the Pleasant Valley Quartet.

Mark "Cousin Rainwater" Eagleton - Standup Bass

Mark Eagleton is PVB's ace bassist. A newcomer to this type of music, he will surprise you with his natural feel, walking and slapping on his gut strings just when it's "right." Mark is also the bass player for Woodland, CA's alt-country band The Bottom Dwellers.
