Shane Faerber received a BFA in textiles from the California College of Arts and Crafts, (now the California College of the Arts. She has studied and taught textiles throughout the Bay Area. She currently teaches weaving and dyeing at the Richmond Art Center. She is also the owner of Sheep City, USA, where she teaches weaving, spinning, dyeing, knitting, and felting.
