Shearing Competition: 25th Annual Lambtown, USA Festival: October 1, 2011The Shearing competition at Lambtown has been one of the most popular events. In this competition, shearers compete to shear a group of sheep in the fastest time. However, they are also judged for the quality of the shearing; points are lost for nicking the skin or for second cuts. Competitors in this year's contest come from as far as Oregon and even New Zealand.
