Awards

Best in Show: Special Award

Best Item or skein made from 100% Jacob wool: $15.00 gift certificate donated by Robin Lynde, Meridian Jacobs.
Best Item or skein made from 100% Cormo wool: $25.00 gift certificate donated by Sue Reuser, Cormo Sheep and Wool.
Best Division D item: $25.00 gift certificate form Dana Foss, Royal Fibers.

1st-$5, 2nd-$3, 3rd-$1 in each division

Entry Fee: $2 per item before Aug 1, 2011 and $5 thereafter.

Rules for 2011
1. All yarn use in Divisions A, B, C and D must be handspun.
2. All entries must have been spun, knit, woven, crocheted or otherwise constructed by the exhibitor within the last year. Each class has a limit of two items per exhibitor.
3. Entry deadline (in OUR mailbox) is September 15, 2011 and late entries will not be accepted.
4. Items will be accepted Saturday October 1, 2011 between 7am and 9am. Late submissions will not be accepted. Items will be released at 5 pm. Items removed early will forfeit prizes and premiums.
5. All entries must include an entry tag attached to the entry with the Division, Class and content on the outside, and folded with Entrant's name and address inside. This makes organization and item identification easier on all of us.
6. Mailed articles should be sent to Dana Foss, S&G Competition, P.O.Box 995, Dixon, CA 95620. They must be received no later than September 15, 2011 and include the entry fee. Articles will not be returned by mail. Entries that are not claimed by 5 p.m. October 1, 2011 will become property of Lambtown, USA.
7. Judging will start at 10 am. The judge may reclassify entries to the appropriate class prior to judging. Judges’ decisions are final. All entries will be displayed uncovered but supervised during Festival hours. The Festival will make every effort to display and care for the entered pieces but assumes no responsibility for damage or loss.

This class is for items made of handspun yarn, knit, crocheted or woven by two or more people.
Include the type of project, fiber and construction method as well and the names of the participants.
This Division will not be eligible for Best in Show but is a great way show off a collaborative project.

After completing the above application, please also print it out, enclose an entry fee of $2.00 per entry, and mail to: Lambtown Skeins and Textiles Competition c/o Dana Foss, P. O. Box 995, Dixon, CA 95620. Please note that no refunds will be given due to inclement weather.

Upon acceptance of your application, you will receive an official notification, with directions and the time you will need to load in.

To enter, applications must be in by no later than September 10, 2011.
