. . The Spinner’s Lead takes place on Saturday evening at 5:30 pm at the Hall Park amphitheater. Entrants
wear their handspun garments or creations, while leading or carrying, a sheep, goat, bunny, alpaca, llama, dog, cat or other fiber-bearing
animal (or like the animal) from whose fiber the garment or creation was constructed. NOTE: for 2007, due to park restrictions, NO ANIMALS
will be led in this competition.
The entry fee for contestants is $3 per item. It is an opportunity for the fiber community to introduce the beauty of their creations to
the festival community.
The event is open to all producers, spinners and felters of wool, mohair or other fiber. If you wish to enter please read the rules carefully.

Complete the entry form and mail it to the address shown below. We need a photograph of the animal and a full description of your entry
including technique of construction, breed of animal and information about the artist and exhibitor. This will be read to the judges and
audience during the fashion show.
Mail-in entries will be accepted until July 20th, however forms will be available at the information table until 2 pm Saturday, with a $5 per
item late entry fee. Awards will be presented to third place.
